Do One Thing for Cultural Diversity & Inclusion

World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development is celebrated on May 21. Through the Do One Thing world campaign, we are all encouraged to discover and enjoy the richness of other cultures and in doing so improve world relations.

Magnum Group commissioned Ana Guissel Palma, Mexican artist and resident of Philadelphia, to create artistic figures celebrating diversity for Temple Health’s recent Cultural Competence in Healthcare Symposium.

Palma’s figures are made out of paper mache and inspired by the art of the popular Mexican artist Jose Guadalupe Posada (1852-1913). Posada was an illustrator, lithographer and cartoonist who represented the differences of social class and politics of Mexico in the 19th century through his art.

With the exhibition of these figures, Magnum Group celebrates diversity in healthcare and invites you to embrace cultural diversity.
